Course Summary

Survival Skills is available to give training for clubs and groups on all aspects of riding. Read about our group training sessions for Thames Valley Virago Owners and MAG Isle of Man.

If you run a bike club or simply ride with a bunch of like minded mates, why not book a group training session?

Course Content

The content of the training session is flexible and can be arranged in consultation with the organiser.

It can either be used to give an introduction to advanced techniques or to work on specific problems: for instance, topics covered in the past include a general introduction to positioning for view, stability and safety, machine control skills, and group riding techniques. For examples of possible topics see Short Courses.

If a Group Nights presentation has covered the theory, the session can be used to cover the practical application. This would be particularly suitable in the case of the One Day courses.

Format of the course

Training will be carried out in two groups, with a maximum of three participants in each group. The first session will usually commence at 9:00 and finish around 12:00, the second session will run from 1:00 till around 4:00. Each session will begin with a briefing over a coffee and end with a debrief. There will be an opportunity for both groups to chat over lunch.

You will cover around 50 miles on the day. Routes have been carefully researched to provide increasingly complex challenges as the course progresses.

Training is normally done on a 3:1 basis. If you wish to take training 2:1 with a friend or partner, we will be happy to arrange that.

Quite simply YOU, the trainee, come first at Survival Skills!
So why settle for less? Book a Survival Skills course now for the very best in qualified, independent advanced training.
