With a return trip on Eurotunnel currently just available from just £26 (yes, that's right, £26!!), it's a highly affordable option to take a day of your Survival Skills advanced training courses in
Northern France. And the training costs exactly the same as if you took the course in Kent or Oxford!
Within 10 miles of Calais, we'll be on beautifully surfaced and near-deserted roads, with a whole range of complex challenges including fast sweeping bends and sequences of hairpin bends to
allow you to explore your riding skills to the full.
You can choose to take ONE DAY* of any of the following courses in France at no extra cost:
- Four Day SuperCourse
- Three Day SuperCourse
- Two Day Survival Skills course
- One Day Bends course
- One Day Double Bends course
- One Day Refresher course
whether you have previously ridden on the continent or not.
The day(s) will cover exactly the same topics as would be covered on UK roads, but will include an extra briefing on the French Priorite a Droit system.
* PLEASE NOTE - on the two, three and four day courses, all other training will take place in Kent or Oxford.
Trainiing will be mostly on country roads, with some nice technical challenges including a number of hairpin bends.
All routes in France have been carefully researched to provide increasingly complex challenges as the course progresses, using a series of loops from central point. This allows us to adjust the
amount of riding to match our progress during the day, so we aren't in a rush for the train at the end of the day!
If you wish to take training with a friend or partner, we will be happy to arrange that.
For 2009, we'll be booking courses at intervals throughout the year in three locations: Montgomery (mid-Wales), Tideswell (Peak District) and Dartmouth (Devon).
