I've been riding bikes for far too long, and have learnt a fair bit, sometimes the hard way, about how to keep on top of bike maintenance and repairs, and what to look for in selecting parts, accessories and clothing. I also get useful contributions from others with tips they have learned.

Every now and again something comes up in discussion that might seem obvious to some riders, but is a new idea to others. I'll put ideas like that in this section.

Latest Additions:

  • Check your oil filer - for rust!
  • Selecting a helmet - a guide for novices
  • Quick Tip - don't overfill the tank!

Recent Additions:

  • How much power do you need?
  • Keeping it clean - bike cleaners tested
